They can be responsible for the entire development cycle or brought in to deal with a particular phase. Developers work in a wide variety of sectors including IT, local government, education, tourism, finance, media and commerce.

Salary Range
New entrants can expect to earn between £16,000 and £20,000 a year. With experience, developers can earn up to £30,000 a year. Senior developers/programmers can earn £35,000 or more.
